Sofa King Good Wins Baker Team Shootout VI

The team of Sofa King Good (Yuki Love, Alejandra Mora, Kristen Schopper, Anthony Biundo, and Tom Hays) defeated Good, Bad, Ugly (Dick Hildebrandt, Fred Zielinski, Gene Rigitano Sr., Gene Rigitano Jr., and Ken Szymura) 2-1 (215-181, 220-230, 271-201) in the championship match of the Baker Team Shootout VI. Sofa King Good earned $1550.00 for first place, and Good, Bad, Ugly earned $800.00 for second. Congratulations Sofa King Good!

Baker Shootout Team Tournament - March 29, 2009

Team Trinitie Wins Baker Shootout V
 

Team Trinitie (Trinitie May, Katie Watkins, Brian Banks, Nick Caruso Jr., Rick Rucker) defeated Team Wochner (Bob English, Ken Fischer, Shawn Wochner, Jeff Fischer, Steve Dinelli) 2-1 to take home the title and the $1220 first prize. In game one of the best out of three final match Team Wochner defeated Team Trinitie handily 258-207. However, splits and missed spares proved to be the undoing of Team Wochner in games 2 and 3 where Team Trinitie won both games 260–153 and 206-172. Team Wochner took home $610 for second place.

Baker Team Shootout IV results

LAKES BOWL’S TEAM GOUDREAU WINS BAKER SHOOTOUT IV

Lakes Bowl’s Team Goudreau (Brian Franas, Ben Sawall, Art Lozano, Steve Goudreau, Jack Chynowoth) took down the $1500 first prize at the Baker Shootout IV at Raymond’s Bowl in Johnsburg, IL on March 29th. Team Goudreau led the 16 game match play qualifying round with a 10-6 overall record and went on to defeat Midwest App. (Steve Paquet, John Smith, Ron Peake, Bill Lester, Skip Justice) in the final 2 games to 1. Midwest Appraisal earned $750 for second. Summit Plastics (Mike Moore, Rex McConnville, Len Miele, Brian Legnaioli, Gene Holst) rolled a Baker 300 game in game 12 of qualifying, but failed to make the bracket finals.
